Clayton Civic Center

Adaptive reuse of the National Register DeMartini Winery into offices for the City of Clayton. The project included rehabilitation and seismic strengthening of the circa 1885 stone masonry building while integrating modern office improvements into the utilitarian space. Interior alterations preserved the historic winery character while creating comfortable, efficient, and attractive offices. Exterior rehabilitation preserved historically significant features and created a new entry courtyard for civic events.
