David Brower Center The David Brower Center will be a home for the environmental movement of the twenty-first century. The building will feature non-toxic materials; natural daylighting and ventilation; high-performance building envelope; and solar panels. The Center, in its four floors and over 50,000 square feet, will house a theater, an art gallery, restaurant, meeting rooms, collaborative common space, and flexible office space for nonprofits and progressive for-profits. WRT | Solomon ETC is the building architect. Thomas Saxby's is working with the tenants on the interior space planning for the office layouts. Project completion is scheduled for 2009. |

Historic Central Building The historic Central (Savings Bank) Building was built in 1926 and is a contributor to the Oakland Downtown Historic District. The project includes a wide variety of rehabilitation work and building improvements including roofing, terra cotta repair, fire sprinkler installation, electrical upgrades, elevator remodeling, office remodeling, ADA bathrooms and graffiti control. Future projects include an exterior building maintenance platform system and emergency lighting upgrades. |
Bay Isle Financial Corporation This 9,000 square foot office space was designed for Bay Isle Financial Corporation when they moved their headquarters from San Francisco to Oakland . The office houses three departments and a large training facility for both office and client development programs. A natural color scheme was used to create a comfortable and friendly, yet elegant environment. Project completed in 2003. |

VERIO At the height of the technology boom, server co-location facilities couldn't be built fast enough to meet the demand. This project created a sales office and co-location facility in the SOMA district of San Francisco. A comprehensive design and coordination of the mechanical and electrical systems was required to provide 100% system redundancy and emergency back-up power. High tech security and alarms monitor all systems and environmental conditions. Project completed in 2000. |

475 14th Street As building Architect of this high-rise office building, Thomas Saxby designed office improvements for tens of thousands of square feet of space, core remodeling projects, ADA upgrades and BOMA area calculations. Pacific Coast Brewing Company Pub and brewery located in the Old Oakland / Victorian Row Historic District. The project features the reconstruction of the historic storefront and the restoration/reuse of an historic bar, ice cooler and art glass donated to the project by the Oakland Museum. United States Bankruptcy Court Lobby Remodel of an existing office entry lobby to service walk-in customers. The Improvements included bullet-resistant wall and counter assemblies designed to comply with the new USBC standards for customer areas while maintaining a friendly and attractive environment. |
